The grower of Red Bentley
Rift Valley Roses is a family business. On their 27 hectares of land, the brothers who currently own the company have been growing roses since 2011. They are the third generation of the family from Scotland who are in the agricultural sector in Kenya. Besides the many hours of sunshine, the roses also benefit from the volcanic soil on which the nursery is located and the water from the mountains around them. In fact, the nursery overlooks a large well-known lake in Kenya.
At the nursery, the roses already go through a number of inspections to see if they meet quality standards. Once in the Netherlands, they get another inspection. All to make sure you get the best quality roses!
The meaning of the Red Bentley rose
The rose is the queen of flowers. Why? It is because of the beauty, elegance and significance of roses. Getting a rose is, of course, already very special. Getting a red rose is extra romantic. The red rose symbolises the love between the person giving the red roses and the person receiving the red roses. Therefore, the red rose is usually given in a love relationship and not so much in good friendship. For friendship, you might want to look at yellow roses, or pink roses!
