The Snowstorm rose is a white rose. She looks very much like the Avalanche rose, a very well-known white rose from the Netherlands, but there are some differences. The white rose from Kenya
The white rose is grown in Kenya, at the grower Ol Njorowa. At Ol Njorowa in Kenya, the roses get sun all day long, due to the many hours of sun the roses are enormously strong. A sturdy stem and a big bud. All because of the sun in a natural way! Ol Njorowa has existed since 1994 and has made it its mission to plant trees, to make the area flourish. The forest is getting bigger and more and more birds are flocking to the area since they started doing this! A grower with top quality roses that also cares about the environment and the surroundings!
The difference between the Kenyan rose and the Dutch rose

The roses are hard to tell apart and differ in small details. Both white roses have a cream undertone, which is quite normal for a white rose. The Avalanche rose can sometimes have a red edge. That too is quite normal for that rose.
The white rose: ordering Snowstorm
When the rose is closed, the outer leaves may look a bit green, when the rose opens, you will really start to see the white heart of the rose. Should you not like the outer leaves of the white rose, you can remove them by bending the leaves over. The outer leaves are there to protect the rose inside, e.g. for when they are sent to you from our florists!
Cut a few centimetres off the stem and put the white roses in a clean (glass) vase with a bag of flower food. We will of course give you the flower food with the bouquet. Make sure the roses have enough water and enjoy your white roses!
